B Tech Course Educational Qualification (B Tech Course Qualification)

  • First of all, for this, the 12th Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Math’s) must have been passed from any recognized board, in which it is mandatory to have Mathematics.
  • For this, you must have passed 12th with 50 – 60% marks.
  • The candidate’s age should be between 17 to 23 years to do B.Tech course.

How To Get Admission To B Tech Course

To enter the B Tech course, first of all, your educational qualification is fulfilled; after that, for admission in the course, go to Govt. And many types of entrance exams are conducted by the university like JEE Main, BITSAT, MET, VITEEE, etc. You have to give one of these exams to you! And you have to pass the exam.

Counseling And College Selection

After clearing the common entrance exam, B Tech college is provided based on your ranking. If you pass your Entrance Exam in a good rank, then your chances of getting admission to Top Government Colleges increase. Where can you start your engineering studies? Apart from this, you can also study B Tech by taking direct admission in private colleges.

B Tech Admission Test (B Tech Entrance Exam)

B Tech course entrance exam is as follows:

  • JEE Main
  • MET

1. JEE Main
This exam is conducted to get admission to the Top College of Engineering. NTA conducts this entrance exam.

2. MET
The full form of MET is Manipal Entrance Test which Manipal Academy conducts. It is a National level Undergraduate Entrance Exam.

B Tech Course Time Duration (B Tech Course Duration)

There are two types of B Tech Course Time Duration.

  • Four Years: If you want to do B Tech course after passing 12th then this will be your four-year course.
  • Three years: If you enter a B Tech course after completing polytechnic engineering, you must do a B Tech course of 3 years! And this type of admission process is known as Lateral Entry.

B Tech Course Fees in government engineering colleges range from about 50 to 80 thousand per year! And in private colleges, B Tech Course Fees are determined by the colleges only.

If seen, B Tech Course Fees in Private Colleges are approximately between 1 to 2 lakhs per year! Based on the educational facilities of the college, more fees are taken in private colleges also.

Further Studies After B Tech

After doing a B Tech course, you can work as an engineer in government and private institutions and companies. And apart from this, you can continue your further studies.

For this, you can study in Technology and other fields by doing a Post Graduation Course! And can participate in the civil examinations conducted by the government.

After doing B. Tech course, you can do the following types of Post Graduation Course:

M Tech

This is a Post Graduation Course in Technology, which you can do after completing your B Tech. Through M Tech, you can study deeply in the field of engineering. To get into M. Tech, you have to clear the GATE exam.

MBA (Master of Business Administration)

If you want to develop business management, marketing, and skills by becoming an entrepreneur, then you can do a post-graduation MBA course after the under graduation course.

Civil Examinations

After clearing the B Tech course, you can participate in civil examinations! The country’s top civil exam can give the IAS exam. Apart from this, a B Tech graduate student can participate fully in SSC, RRB, UPSC, PSU, RBI Grade B, etc. Civil Exams.

PGPM (Post Graduation Program in Management)

This PGPM is considered the best option after doing an engineering course! After this, you can get a high-level income as well as gain full professional experience.
